AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A (ACCOMMODATIONS/ HIGHWAY CORRIDOR)
ZONING FOR THE ELKHORN LODGE PHASE II ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, the annexation of Elkhorn Lodge Phase II Annexation, legally
described in Exhibit A, was approved on the 27th day of January, 2026;and
WHEREAS, the ordinance approving annexation of Elkhorn Lodge Phase II also
adopted an annexation agreement; and
WHEREAS, following testimony, the Board of Trustees have determined that it is
in the best interest of the Town to zone Elkhorn Lodge Phase II Annexation to the Town
of Estes Park as 'A' (Accommodations/ Highway Corridor).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Elkhorn Lodge Phase II Annexation shall be zoned as 'A'
(Accommodations/ Highway Corridor).
Section 2: The Board interprets, determines, and ordains that Ordinance 11-25
does not apply to this establishment of zoning, because it is not a "re-zoning" under that
ordinance.
Section 3: This Ordinance shall take effect and be enforced thirty (30) days after
its adoption and publication.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,
Colorado this 27? day of January, 2026.
