However, applicable life-safety requirements comply with Municipal codes. Therefore, to allow owners the most possible use of their property, a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy is being issued. It is the responsibility of the contractor and the property owner to complete all requirements associated with the permitted development, in a manner complying with all Municipal Laws. No changes from the approved site and construction plans are authorized, without prior approval of the Building Official. The contractor and the owner must read and agree to the previous conditions and the following corrections, prior to issuance of a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy. 1. This Temporary Certificate of Occupancy expires Januarv 5,2009 2. Business license affidavit required to be submitted to Town Clerk for review/approval. 3. Edges of OSB, penetrations and openings required to be caulked, flashed & sealed for weather protection and air infiltration. 4. Wood siding, sheathing and wall framing required to have a minimum of 6" clearance from final grade or have been provided an approved system for protection from decay damage. 5. Construction supplies, tools, trash & debris required to be removed. 6. Bearing required under west porch stair stringers. 7. Full inspection in attics (2) required, provide OSHA approved ladder for access. 8. Door between garage and house: adjust spring loaded hinges to latch door shut. 90.. Bathroom lavatory: wall penetrations required to be sealed with escutcheon plates or caulked. 96. Caulk lavatory backsplash to wall. 10. Fireplaces required to be inspected and approved. 11. Provide barrier over insulation kraft paper in mechanical room, meeting flame spread & smoke developed index complying with ASTM 84. 12.
