Basement Finish Insulation: Continuous Insulation = R15 OR Cavity framing Insulation = R19 on exterior walls Cement based substrate or equal on shower walls Maintain 30" clear working space in front of mech applicances for work access Toilets & Lavatories shall be provided with a min. of 21 inches in front each fixture - each side of Toilets shall have 15 inches from the center line of the toilet and any sidewall or other obstructions. Provide 50 cfm fan in bathroom - vented to exterior - when no natural ventilation is provided by window Min. one window & well to meet egress requirements Showers - min. inside dim. of 900 sq. in. - finished 72 in. above the floor with a non-absorbent material. Shower door min. clear opening width is 22 inches - P2708.1 exception #2 - Shower door clearance 24 inches in front of door opening. Arc fault protection required at electrical openings Provide Tamper Resistant Receptacles Replacement of existing receptacles outlets shall comply with NEC 406.4 D 1-6 Laundry areas 15 & 20 amp - GFCI protected - & not less than one receptacle outlet to supply the laundry laundry equipment.
