DECK GUARD & HANDRAIL NOTES:
1. Guardrails required if walking surface height is over 30"
above grade.
2. Open guardrails shall have members spaced so that a 4
inch diameter sphere cannot pass through.
3. Guard and Handrails shall resist a 200 lb single
concentrated load applied in any direction at any point along
the top.
