Thanks, Tom Per email and phone conv. from owner today 10/7/20 General Notes: -All rooms to be AFCI except bath, utility and unfinished rooms -Bath, utility and unfinished rooms to be GFCI -Backwater valves to remain accessible -Back flow protect all below grade fixtures -1/2” dry wall req’d for enclosed usable space under stairs -Float all walls with treated plates -Smoke alarms req’d in each sleeping room -Smoke/CO alarms req’d w/in 15’vicinity of bedroom exteriors -Min 1 emergency escape and rescue opening req’d per bedroom General Residential Electrical Requirements - Smoke detectors required inside and outside all bedrooms. - Min. one smoke detector required on each level. - Carbon monoxide detectors required within 15' of all bedrooms throughout home. - All outlets less than 5'6" AFF to be tamper resistant. - All circuits arc-fault except bathrooms and unfinished areas. - Min. (2) 20A, dedicated, GFCI/AFCI protected, small appliance, countertop circuits required in kitchens. - Min. (1) 20A, dedicated, GFCI protected outlet required within 36" of all lavs. - Garage circuits to be dedicated, 20A, and GFCI protected. - Laundry circuit to be 20A, GFCI protected. - All GFCI devices must be readily accessible. - Crawlspace lighting circuits to be GFCI protected. - Service receptacles required within 25' of all appliances. 2015 IECC -75% OF LAMPS SHALL BE HIGH EFFICIENCY -ALL DUCT WORK LOCATED OUSIDE THE THERMAL ENVELOPE SHALL BE TESTED FOR LEAKAGE
