Remarks or Deficiencies Noted: - Several double-sided shear wall locations were located directly adjacent to the interior timber frames and could not have the interior sheathing/nailing installed. Please see revised structural plans dated 4/4/2022 for updated shear wall types. - (4) 2x6 posts were installed at grids 5 and G and at grids 5 and B in lieu of the 3” steel pipe columns called out on the structural plans. - The W10x45 floor beam along grid G was installed as a continuous span connecting to the wood beams at gridline 5. This revised span condition has been verified and no further action is required. - Sole plate nailing of shearwalls to foundation sill plate not installed per the shearwall schedule. Per communication with the contractor, this nailing is not required as the exterior sheathing extends to the foundation sill plate without a sheathing splice and shearwall boundary nailing was provided to the foundation sill plate. All items indicated above have been communicated to the contractor prior to leaving the site. Supplemental structural drawings will be provided to the contractor for the required repairs/revisions.
