The Board of Adjustment meeting was held at 9:00 A.M. yes- terday. At this meeting the Board of Adjustment gave Mr. Beery a variance that will permit him to use a 5' setback rather than the 7' setback as required by the Code. This, in effect, will allow him to set his garage 2' closer to his east lot line than the Code requires. We regret your letter was not received in time to be read during the meeting. The setback required, according to Chapter 17.68 of the Municipal Code, is 81'. The applicants requested a 5' setback for the garage from the east boundary line and a 3' setback from the north boundary line which they claimed will facilitate their driveway access and maximize their view. Member Ed Palmer moved the variance be granted. Member Wagner seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes: Those voting "Yes" Members Sutter, Herzog, Palmer, Sager, Wagner. Those voting "No" none.
