DO NOT tighten screws until all panels are in place . . this will assure easier alignment of screw holes. 2. Lightly fasten top of panel to wall channels with screws, to hold it in place . . . then catch bottom screws. 3. Fasten center of panel rib where it overlaps the adjacent panel using a bolt . .. and screws at top and bottom. 4. Fasten center of panel to wall channel using screws. Use bolts thru the wall channel overlap at the center and top of panel. NARROW RIB WITH BEAD IS ALWAYS OVERLAPPED BY WIDE RIB; EXCEPT FOR CENTER SIDE AND REAR OVERLAP 11 GABLE ASSEMBLY 1. Position ROOF BEAM BRACKETS on gables. NOTE: Mounting leg of bracket must face toward center of gable. Fasten brackets using bolts. 2. Apply FOAM TAPE along edge of center gable leg by removing protective paper and pressing on outer edge of leg. Cut tape to proper length (Approx. 15") and use remainder on rear gables. Position a RIGHT GABLE ASSEMBLY and fasten in ) same manner. Join left and right gables together at the center th a bolt in the second hole from the bottom only! Fasten TRACK SUPPORTS to the front gables, one each side of the center leg. Attach the supports removing and re—inserting the bolt and screws. Second pair of gables are fastened to the rear ill channel in the same manner. TYPICAL CORNER ASSEMBLY ) ROOF BEAM AND BRACE ASSEMBLY Fasten 2 ROOF BEAMS, back—to—back, where left I right gables are joined with bolts and nuts. 1TE legs with small holes along length must be on surface. Join roof beams together at the 3 middle holes vest the top, using bolts. Install remaining roof beams, back—to—back to the ckets with bolts in the same manner, small holes top, slope of beam matching slope of gables. At the front of building attach a ROOF BEAM BRACE the main roof beam, by placing TAB on the end of ce between the roof beams and fastening at the 2nd LE location with a bolt. Fasten opposite end to the ck support. The remaining brace is fastened at the rear of building ng the 1st HOLE location and the bottom hole on the )Ie leg. TYPICAL ROOF BEAM BRACE ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLY NUT PLASTIC ROOF \ z WASHER PANEL ASSEMBLY BOLT :IF4GABLE IMPORTANT Before roof panels are fastened, once again "SQUARE" the building by measuring diagonally from corner to Corner at the top of the wall panels. If the structure is not square, gently rack the building, apply pressure at the top of the corner wall panels, FASTEN ROOF PANEL TO GABLE SCREWS TO ROOF BEAM / S, SLOTTED HOLES AT TOP FASTEN AT OVERLAP SMALL HOLES AT BOTTOM SCREWS TO ROOF BEAM . DO NOT fasten the lower end of panels to wall ;hannel until all panels are in place. L Fasten side of panel to gable with bolts, washers and nuts. RIGHT ROOF PANEL 15 . Position a ROOF PANEL overlapping rib of right :omer panel. Fasten to roof beams with screws and vashers. '. Fasten overlap at center of roof panel using a bolt. Install 3 more roof panels and a left roof panel to omplete side of roof. At top roof beam end of panels, fasten 2nd and 4th oof panel overlaps with a bolt. Apply CAULKING PAD ver head of bolt pressing it firmly in place. Be sure Dof panel is clean and dry before using caulking pad. 'age 12 APPLY CAULKING PAD #67233 OVER HEAD OF BOLT TYPICAL ROOF PANEL OVERLAP FASTEN OVERLAP AT ROOF BEAM END OF PANEL To assemble the other half of the roof, install a GHT ROOF PANEL as described in previous step. Apply WEATHERSTRIPPING TAPE across the joint, iere roof panels meet at the center roof beam, by roving protective paper. Press tape down firmly and b for good adhesion. DO NOT cut tape . .. let roll .ng free until ready to use on next roof panel. Install 2 ROOF PANELS and continue weather stripping. WEATHERSTRIPPING TAPE 17 RIDGE CAP & PEAK CAP ASSEMBLY I. Install the 1st RIDGE CAP and PEAK CAP to the completed roof section using bolts. The peak cap is attached between the ridge cap and roof panel using the same bolts. DO NOT fasten opposite end of ridge cap until next step. 2. At top roof beam end of panels, fasten 2nd panel overlap with a bolt and apply caulking pad over head. PEAK CAP PEAK CAP Page 1 18 1. Install 1 ROOF PANEL overlapping adjacent panel as described previously and continue weather stripping. 2. Position 2nd RIDGE CAP overlapping end of previously installed ridge cap .. . align holes and fasten using bolts. 3. Install remaining roof panel and fasten ridge cap at roof panel overlap. 4. Fasten 4th panel overlap with a bolt and apply caulking pad. 5. Complete installation of LEFT ROOF PANEL . . . when roof is completed, tuck tape under last panel and cut. 6. At opposite end fasten ridge cap, peak cap and roof panel together using bolts. 7. Fasten the lori/er end of all panels to wall channel using screws and washers. PEAK CAP 19 TRIM ASSEMBLY 1. Attach RIGHT and LEFT SIDE ROOF TRIM to the lower end of roof panels on each side of building, using screws at each panel overlap. NOTE that a single screw fastens both trim pieces at overlap. 2. HANDLE Crimp both ends of the secondary horizontal door brace th a pair of pliers after brace is fastened at bottom of door. Repeat procedure for the LEFT DOOR ASSEMBLY. From inside building, guide bottom edge of RIGHT DOOR, (on your left when inside building) into the front frame track, about 1 foot from the corner. 2. Position top of door so that holes in door line up with hole and pin in the door slide. Fasten door to slide using self—tapping screw. 3. Install LEFT DOOR in the same manner. If not, remove the self—tapping screws where doors meet. 2. Adjust doors by raising or lowering pin in door panel as required, so that they meet evenly along their length. Then re—insert self—tapping screws. Page 16
