CES made a site visit to the Estes Park Visitors Ccntcr,Thursday,August 4,2005.The site visit was made at the request of Mounta Concrete Construr.tion.Inc.The puzpose of the site visit was to bolt at twa corarete bearing pads that were not centered below their respective log columns.(Des recommends that the 2 concrete pads be removed and re-poured in the correct location.CES also recommcnds that thc concte pads not be poured concurrently with the floor slab, Also obsarved during the site visfl was: 1.)The underground utilities below the wet wall thickened slab were not flow filled. 2)The wet wall thickened slab was not aligned under thc beiring walls. 3)The wet wall thickened slab tended to very in depth front 8”to 4”.
