The Building Official will help determine if you need to resubmit plans. If square footage is added or if the structure is relocated on the property, three additional plot plans are also required with the resubmi nal. To avoid these additional costs and possible delay of your project, it is best to have your structural issues and building placement resolved before submitting for a building permit. ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVALS: Prior to Building Department review, the permit application and the plans and specifications are required to be reviewed and approved by local governmental departments responsible for zoning, water and sanitation, fire protection, access roads and other improvements on public property.
