X 4” SDR 35 PVC minimum required. Excavator shall contact RD (970) 481-1458 or CT (970)
481-3494 or Davina Gladson (970) 402-6796.
X The property is one of three units that share a 6” private service line. Ownership of the 6”
shared line is shared evenly by all parties who use it. The line was installed in 2004 – PVC.
X Plans show the service line for Lot 1A to be outside the building envelope. Excavator shall dig
carefully and if service line for that unit is found it must be moved as per the approval of EPSD
– Ron Duell (970) 481-1458.
X Prior to back filling, EPSD Collection Department must inspect the service line. A locate wire
will be installed in the trench.
EPSD crew will perform tap to the sewer main - manhole taps shall be the responsibility of the
owner. Manhole taps require a concrete bore. Contact RD to get the name of approved borer.
X Double clean out required within five feet of building and one for each additional 100 feet of
service.
X Use of the collection and treatment facilities of the District requires property owners to abide by
the rules and regulations of the Estes Park Sanitation District.
External FOG interceptor is required. 750 gallon interceptor shall be required
The following fixtures shall be hooked to the FOG interceptor: 3-compartment sink and mop
sink as per plans.
FOG Interceptor must be cleaned regularly and records documenting cleaning shall be kept
and made available on request to the Estes Park Sanitation District. Monthly cleaning is a
requirement. District will not be responsible for service line problems or blockages.
Lift station or grinder pump will be required. EPSD Line Superintendent to be provided details.
The board of directors requires a main line extension. See attached Planning Commission
