This requirement applied to the downtown fire district, and included standards for construction materials. This ordinance prohibited outhouses in this area, unless special approval was granted by the Town Board (privies were limited to 12-feet in height and 10 square feet). Failure to follow approved plans resulted in a 'stop work order'. Failure to obtain a permit was considered a misdemeanor, with a one hundred dollar fine, plus $25 per week the structure remained. A meeting packet is available for review in the Community Development Department and the Estes Valley Library two business days prior to the meeting. The Estes Valley Planning Commission reserves the right to consider other appropriate items not available at the time the agenda was prepared.
