Dear Mr. Hill:
would like to apply. for a. hearing regarding a sign variance
in the Piccadilly Square Shopping Center (formerly the Jelsema
Center).
The existing si is somewhat of an eyesore and it is hsped
that through. a vari.nce this can be eliminated. I have attached
a copy of our proposed. sign which ill utilize the present
posts and concrete -stone foun'ation. As you can tell, it is
a far cry from what exists today.
The cost would be .Ar.ohibitive to relocate the existing, posts
and foundation. According, to Dennis Wheaton. of Estes Park the
figure would approach one thousand dollars to duplicate what
eI[already have, plus patching the area of the existing found-
ation.
would be able to ;ppear before the Board of Adjustment in
or after August 30, 1974. Thank -you so much for your consider-
ation.
