RE:Reduced Setbacks,Units 316,412,and 414,Overlook Condominium Deck
Expansions
Dear Mr.Reetz:
I have reviewed your request to allow reduced setbacks for the expansion of decks
attached to three condominium units at the Overlook Condominiums,located on Lot 2
of the Stanley Historic District.
The Development Agreement that is in place and applicable to Lot 2 has a specific
provision under Section 4.02 for a “Minor Amendment,”which may be processed and
approved by the Community Development Director.Your request for reduced setbacks
does meet criteria to qualify as a Minor Amendment.
After evaluation and consideration of potential impacts,I hereby approve the Minor
Amendment,finding there would be no adverse impact from the reduced setbacks.
This approves the setbacks for deck expansions as follows:
•Unit 316,316 Overlook Court —A setback of 11.25 feet in lieu of the 15-foot
minimum required.
•Unit 412,412 Overlook Court —A setback of 12 feet in lieu of the 15-foot
minimum required.
•Unit 414,414 Overlook Court —A setback of 24 feet in lieu of the 25-foot
minimum required.
