NOTICE OF APPEAL

Address all communications to the Building Inspector, Post Office Box 1200, Estes Park,
Colorado 80517.
This is a petition for a variance of the Zoning Ordinance. It must be on file at the office
of the Building Inspector, Town of Estes Park; 10 days before any meeting of the Board of
Adjustment.
A $25.00 (twenty-five dollar) fee to cover costs of processing appeals and requests for
variances shall be paid to the Town Clerk prior to any hearing.
The Petitioner or Representative should be present at the meeting.
All variances granted by the Board of Adjustment shall become null and void if a building
permit has not been issued and paid for and work thereunder commenced within four months
from the date the variance was granted.

RAVESLOOT - ALTERATION OF A NON -CONFORMING BLDG. - 998 UNIVERSITY:
Mr. Bob Muirhead, representing Mr. Cornelius H. Ravesloot, appeared
to request a variance to allow an addition to a non -conforming
building at 998 University Boulevard, Estes Park. The present
building is non -conforming because it does not meet the 15 foot
setback requirements. The present structure is 9.64 feet from the
property line. Mr. Muirhead explained that the addition would be
within the 15 foot setback requirements and would be a 14 foot by
14 foot addition on the east side of the house. Member Al Sager
stated that the shed on the south side of the house does not meet
the setback requirements. Public Works Director Widmer explained
that the Board of Adjustment could place a condition on the variance
to move the shed. A discussion followed. The following correspondence
expressing no objection to the variance was received from:
Robert L. Dekker 12/12/83
Member Al Sager moved that the variance be granted with the condition
that the shed between the house and back property line be moved
to comply with the setback requirements prior to having a building
permit issued. Member Jerry Lamson seconded the motion and it
passed unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
