Matzke722'771 SUBJECT: 1993 Electric Rate Study Revised Timetable for Proposed Rate Changes Due to difficulties in providing information required by our rate consultant and scheduling conflicts with Mr. Kiburz, the electric rate study is not complete. Mr. Kiburz will not present the final study and recommendations at the September Light and Power Committee meeting as had been previously discussed. Therefore the Light and Power Department is proposing the following revised schedule for consideration and implementation of rate changes: 10/7/93 Present final rate study and recommendations to Light and Power Committee. (Rate consultant attending) Note change in regular meeting date. 10/12/93 Town Board set Public hearing for consideration of electric rate changes at regular Town Board meeting on 11/23/93. 10/15/93 Publish notice of public hearing with proposed rate schedules and mail notification of public hearing with proposed rate schedules to electric customers. 11/23/93 Public hearing to present rate study and recommendations. Consider ordinance to adopt rate changes. (Rate consultant attending) 12/26/93 Rate changes become effective beginning with the first billing cycle following 12/26/93.
