WATER & ROADS, INC. RANGE VIEW ESTATES P. O. Box *** 3291 Estes Park, Colorado 80517 September 12, 1985 RECEIVED Dale Hill, Town Administrator SEP 12= Town of Estes Park Estes Park, Colorado 80517 TOWN OF ESTES PARK TOWN ADMINISTRATOR Dear Dale, You requested that I write you a letter confirming our telephone conversation of about 10 days ago regarding the Range View water distribution system. You may recall about 3 years ago Range View subdivision extended the town water line from Elm Road to our subdivision. Since that time we have been buying water, in bulk, from the town and distributing it through our distribution system, which is above the present "blue line". We are now planning to replace our distribution system. Rocky Mountain Consultants, Inc. has been employed to do engineering drawings and specifications, which when constructed would make our distribution system comply with the Town Code. It is my understanding this firm is one of the engineering firms used by the town water department. Our present intention is to have Palmer Construction Company (who built the water line 3 years ago) do the construction either yet this fall or next spring. We would ask that your water department oversee the construction, as , it did 3 years ago, so whe:n the "blue line" is raised in the future upon con- struction of the Mary's Lake treatment plant, the water department can take over the distribution lines knowing they were constructed to conform with the Town Code. I believe you indicated it would be wise to make a notation in the Water Board minutes when the distribution line construction is completed. I will keep you informed as to our progress. Sincerely yours, 1 .A ...3 40, PU. Th- Walter R. Brown WRB/rip
