ADDY RECAP Project: Stop all vehicles entering the high school parking lot at EPHS and issue "tickets" to all passengers that were utilizing their seat belts. April 7, 1997 0705 to 0755 hours Involved Officers: Fox, Kenney, Kufeld, Rowe, Rose, Filsinger and Char Davis of UNC. Contacted: 278 vehicles 695 people #s using belts: 510 people #s not " I : 185 people Officers contacted 1.1 vehicles / minute 2.8 people / minute April 10, 1997 0714 to 0753 hours Involved Officers: Fox, Kenney, Rose, Filsinger, Pass, Swallow, Schumaker, Alberts, Deputy Wilson and Sgt Palmer of LCSD. Contacted: 240 vehicles # persons not wearing 9 estimated compliance 98% 1,089 "tickets" were issued to those complying 200 prizes were available (not all winners have been located yet) 1 Grand prize of $100 gift certificate donated by PACK 5 second prizes of $20 gas cert. donated by PACK remaining prizes donated by our community businesses and service organizations.
