Contacted: 278 vehicles 695 people #s using belts: 510 people #s not " I : 185 people Officers contacted 1.1 vehicles / minute 2.8 people / minute April 10, 1997 0714 to 0753 hours Involved Officers: Fox, Kenney, Rose, Filsinger, Pass, Swallow, Schumaker, Alberts, Deputy Wilson and Sgt Palmer of LCSD. Contacted: 240 vehicles # persons not wearing 9 estimated compliance 98% 1,089 "tickets" were issued to those complying 200 prizes were available (not all winners have been located yet) 1 Grand prize of $100 gift certificate donated by PACK 5 second prizes of $20 gas cert. donated by PACK remaining prizes donated by our community businesses and service organizations.
