LOCATION: (State Highway and Mileage) Elkhorn Avenue (5 blocks) PROPOSED ROUTE(S): PROPOSED DETOUR(S): East on Elkhorn from Elkhorn Lodge Request By-pass after 4 45 pm Assembly area to Municipal Parking Request Elkhorn to Riverside be closed Lot #1 (East entry) and Estes Park at 4 45 pm Bank parking lot. Elkhorn 34-36 closed at 4 45 pm DESCRIBE THE NECESSITY OF HAVING THE EVENT ON A HIGHWAY: Traditional route DESCRIPTION OF EVENT IN DETAIL (include number of participants, description of the activity to be conducted on the highway, number and type of animals, description of any vehicle or materials to be used. Attach a map): See attached The undersigned hereby agrees to pay the total actual cost to the State Patrol and the Department of Highways for conducting any highway closures related to the event described herein and to submit payment in advance for the estimated cost of such closures and to pay for and provide liability insurance in an amount to be determined by the Chief of the State Patrol. The hiring of a new full time officer for the last half of 1988 and the deletion of three summer hirees. This Will in effect amount to two fewer persons for the summer of 1988 but makes one more officer available for general street duty. 527 84 4 1121*462 2.
