LARIMER COUNTY SOLID WASTE POLICY ADVISORY COUNCIL
Applications are being accepted for one position on the Larimer County Solid Waste Policy
Advisory Council for a term expiring November 30, 2025. The Town of Estes Park Board of
Trustees will appoint the new member to the Council. The Council consists of 8 members,
one elected official and one appointee, from multiple jurisdictions in the County.
The Larimer County Solid Waste Policy Advisory Council’s purpose is to foster regional
coordination and cooperation in matters relating to the appropriate management of solid
waste materials, especially regional efforts to reduce the volume and toxicity of the waste
stream. The Council’s charge is to serve in an advisory capacity to Larimer County on solid
waste matters and to be available to membership jurisdictions, to discuss solid waste
management and planning matters.
The Council meets quarterly, or as needed, for approximately 3 hours and minimal additional
