LOCAL MARKETING DISTRICT
(VISIT ESTES PARK)
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Town of Estes Park is accepting applications for one (1) Volunteer Appointed
Member for the Local Marketing District, Visit Estes Park’s (VEP), Board of
Directors.
This Board meets on the third Thursday of each month from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. to
provide leadership and strategic guidance for the organization by establishing, protecting,
and advancing the mission, vision, and public purpose of VEP in accordance with
applicable laws and intergovernmental agreements.
Board Directors must have lived within VEP's Service Area for at least one year prior to
appointment and must remain a resident of the Service Area throughout their term.
Directors must also attend at least eight (8) board meetings per year (in-person and virtual
attendance options exist). For full details on this role and the Board's responsibilities,

appointment’s term will begin January 1, 2027, and expire December 31, 2030.

www.estes.org/volunteering. Please submit a volunteer application, resume and
cover letter no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026. For questions,
