BY-LAWS ESTES PARK CENTENNIAL -BICENTENNIAL COMMISSION
June 16., 1975
I. Membership
A. The Commission shall be made up of members nominated and
approved by.vote of the Commission.
B. The members shall be chosen to represent as well as possible,
all segments of the Estes Park Area.
C. Members who are unable to fullfill their expected duties will
be expected to resign their positions by letter to the Chairman.
Anyone who misses three consecutive unexcused absenses is
removed. Inability to attend is to be reported to the Chairman
or 1st. Vice Chairman.
II. Executive. Board
A. The Ececutive Board will be made up of the Officers and the
immediate past. Chairperson of the Commission. The Executive
Board may exercise the same duties as the Commission excepting
the Commission does not abrogate any of its powers by reason
thereof.
B. Meetings of the Executive Board shall be called by the Chairman
or a majority of the Executive Board.
III. Offi ¢ers
A. The Chairperson shall be appointed by the Mayor of Estes Park,
upon recommendation of the Commission. He shall preside over
all meetings, nominate and serve as ex officio member of -all
committees, nominate all commission members, and co-sign checks.
B. The 1st. Vice Chairperson shall preside at meetings in the
absence of the Chairman and shall carry out any and all duties
as assigned by the Chairman and may co-sign checks.
C. The 2nd Vice Chairperson shall carry out any and all duties
as assigned by the Chairman.
D. The Secretary shall record all minutes of meetings, issue all -
Calls to meetings, keep a permanent record of Commission activ-
ities, and carry out any and all duties assigned by the Chairman.
E. The Treasurer may establish a bank account, shall co-sign all

reports to the Commission, shall file any financial reports
required by law, and shall carry out any and all duties assigned
by the Chairman.
IV. Meetings
A. Regular meetings of the Commission shall be held the 3rd Monday
of each- month. A call shall be sent to all members at least

five days before each meeting.

V. Miscellaneous
A. A quorum at any properly called meeting shall be 50% of its
members.
B. Roberts Rules of Order, Revised shall be used as Parlimentary
Authority, except when in conflict with these By -Laws.
C. The By -Laws may be ammended by a majority of the total member-
ship of the Commission. Amendments must be included in the
