ESTES PARK GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
Directors' Meeting
June 15th, 1938
The meeting was called to order by President Gooch at
7:50 p.m. at the Hayden Realty Office. Present were Pres. Gooch,
Directors Mills, Brainard, Hayden, and H. B. Boyd. Mrs. LLmb,
Club Manager was also present.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Gooch brought up the matter of carrying insurance on the
Club truck. As it was felt unwise to use truck without insurance,
Mrs. .amb was instructed to hire Watson's or Brainard's truck,
as they carry insurance..
Moved that the Club truck be turned over to Preston's for
sale. Seconded. Carried.
Gooch reported that many clubs serve only sandwiches for
meals, but after discussion, it was decided to continue to serve
meals as before.
Gooch reported that the Caddy house cost about $15.00 and
suggested that it be fixed up for use. It was moved that Mrs.
Lamb and Mr. Brainard be authorized to have the place leveled and
repaird, ready for use. Seconded. Carried.
Brainard reported that Gar Burdick's house was panelled with
plywood, and wired, and an extra room built on for about $200.00.
Moved that Hotel owners be invited to a get-together dinner
at the Club June 22nd, and Mrs. Mills appointed Chairman.
Seconded. Carried.
Meeting adjourned at 10:15 p.m.
