ANNUAL MTTING
THE ESTES PARK GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB
ESTES PARK. COLORADO
October 7, 1935
The meeting was called to order by Vice-president Brainard
at 2:10 p.m. at the Country Club House. Stockholders present
and their respective number of shares were Fay Brainard - 3;
E.C.G000h - 5; Julian Hayden - 5• Claude Verry - 1; and Mrs.
Louiee Reed Hayden - 5. The following number of proxyys were
held by the following stockholders: Julian Hayden - 109; and
Fay Brainard - 1; making a total of 129 shares represented.
Minutes of the annual meeting of 1934 were read and approved
as read.
Minutes of 1934-35 fiscal year of Directors Meetings were all
read and approved as read.
The Secretary read Mrs. Lamb's report on the operation of
the club. Mrs. Hayden moved that it be accepted; seconded by
Mr. Verry; unanimously accepted.
The Treasurer's report, showing a balance of $�309.01 in the
bank was read, by Mr Gooch. Mrs. ayden Moved that it be
accepted; seconded by Mr. Verry; carried unanimously.
There was considerable discussion of ways and advantc es of
centralizing the entire handling of finances in a single
person. The question was refered to the directors with the
suggestion that this be done, if found practicable.
There was discussion about ways and means to promote increased
play bf golf. This problem was refered to the directors.
Directors nominated were Julian Hayden, Claude Verry,
Fay Brainard, E.C. Gooch, L. M. Maitland, C. Byron Mali,
and Samuel Service. Claude Verry moved the nominations be
closed and the directors elected by acclamation; seconded
by Julian Hayden: Carried unanimously.
The Secretary was asked to write a letter to Mrs. Joe Mills
expressing the sympathy of the club and appreciation for the
work done for the club by Mr. Mills.
Meeting adjourned 3:20 p.m.
