ESTES PARK GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
Directors' Meeting
December 19, 1938
The meeting was called to order by President Gooch
at the Hayden Realty office at 2;20 p. m.with directors
Gooch, Brainard, Hayden, Hall, Boyd and Prestom present.
Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved.
Fay Brainard reported results of his visit with the
Clarks at annibal Missouri, and spoke very favorably
of the type of people they seemed to be. After much
discussion of the question it was Moved, seconded and
carried that Brainard be instructed to telegraph the
Clarks that their application was accepted, subjectrto
mutual agreement on a written contract to be drawn
up by Brainard and nayden before the first of the year.
The secretary was instructed to write Mrs. Lamb
telling her that her service would no longer be needed
and expressing appreciation for her past work.
Brainard was instructed to check over the club house
and have necessary repairs attended to.
It was moved, seconded, and carried that the President
and Secretary be authorized to borrow up to $500.00
from Fay Brainard at 6% interest.
Meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.

ESTES PARK RK GOLF AND COUNTY CLUB
Directors! Meeting
October 3rd, 1938
The meeting was called to order at 3:41"at the
Hayden Realty Company Office by Pres. Gooch, with
Directors Gooch, Mills, Hayden, Brainard, Preston,
and Harry Boyd present. Director hall was absent.
E. C. Gooch was nominated for President, and
turned the chair over to Fay Brainard; Seconded and
elected. Gooch resumed the chair.
Ethel Mills nominated, seconded, and elected
as Vice President.
Fay Brainard nominated, seconded, and elected
as Treasurer.
Julian Hayden nominated, seconded, and elected
as Secretary.
Pres. Gooch appointed Fay Brainard, Chairman,
Ethel Mills, and Julian Hayden as a committee to work
out the problem of a suitable caterer and a manager
for the club.
V Ethel Kills reported that she had found out from
her attorney that stock can be held indefinitely without
being transfered on the books, and that any proviso in
the by-laws or constitution regarding future policy
is not binding on new stockholders, and can be changed
by future Board action. There was considerable discussion -
of ways and means to protect the club as a golf club
in case of transfer of control to other hands, but no
decision was reached. /'
Moved, seconded, and carried that uar Burdick be
paid $15.00 per month from October 1st to March ist.
