Meeting adjourned to office of Hayden Realty Co.
Stockholders present, with respective number of shares: Harry
Boyd,2; Dr. Homer E. James, 16; Julian Hayden,4; Samuel Service,
11; Ernest Gooch,5; Joe Mills,5; Dr. L.I�i.Maitland,10; Claude
Verry,l; totaling 54 shares. Proxies as follows: Service 17;
Hayden, 21; 'Mills,5; Jares,5; totalling 48. Total of 102 shares
represented.
Treasurer Gooch gave his annual report, attached hereto. James
moved acceptance of Gooch's report. Seconded and carried.
Hayden gave Mrs. ''amb's report for club operation, showing loss
of $ 171.92 for summer's operation. Motion for acceptance of
report seconded and carried.
Mills reported far less golf pla yed than usual, in 1934, and
much greater use of the clubhouse. _Mills stated the summer
golf tournament brought a small prmfit to the club.
Hayden read Mrs. Zamb!s recommendations to the directors and
stockholders, which included recommendations for fire extinguish-
ers for the clubhouse, $1 rate for meals for the Rotary club in
1935, instalation of electric refrigeration, etc.
Meeting discussed electric refrigerating instalation. Upon}
carrying of motion, Gooch and Brainard appointed to investigate
the costs of electric refrigeration.
Brainard reported $700 in stock recently sold and paid for, with
other probable sales in near future. Stated it was probale that
enough might be collected to pay the club's :„1,200 note at the
bank.
Hayden suggested plan of borrowing from individuals on small notes
of 100 each, for raising money for the club.
Election of board of directors held. Nominated were Service,
Mills, Fay Brainard, Gooch, Hayden, Claude Verry and Harry BOyd.
J moved closing of nominations and election of nominees.
Motion carried.
Stockholders' meeting adjourned.

Meeting of board of directors. Hayden Realty Co. office.
3 P.M., Monday, Oct. 1, 1934.
The following officers were elected by the directors for the
ensuilig year: President; Joe Mills.
Vice President, Fay Brainard,
Treasurer, Ernest Gooch.
Secretary, Julian Hayden.
Gooch reported that oil for the greens could be had at 4-0 a
dallon, if taken in 1,500 gallon lot. Matter left to gooch by
irectors for action.
Brainard reported members who hold club memberships, bat do not play
golf, asking that they be permitted to let guests use their cards.
Suggested that same guest can use card only once, after which it
would be Punched, and guest would sign it. This use limited to
25 in golf playing, and applicable only to members who do not play
golf or use ,the golf course in any way.
On motion by Verry, Brainard and Gooch appointed to study the matter
of guests using membership tickets, with full powers to put it into
effect if feasible. Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned.

Record of Proceedings
That prover fire extinguishers be placed in the Club House.
That Rotary ulub meals next year be raised to 1.00, in view of
increased food costs.
That Electric hefrigeration be given serious consideration in view
Of the amount of ice purchased this year amounting to nearly 4000 lbs.
That 50'. golf be abolished. It was found this year that if it was
rot quoted at the Club House, a 41.00 was secured without any trouble.
That the Greenskeener turn in an invoice to the Club house for every
thing he buys, LcSc that he inquire before nurchasing an article if it
can be obtained wholesale. 'ith'the exceptLon of that material
ordered by officers of the Club.

Meeting of board df directors.
Meeting called at 10 A.M. in Hayden Realty office.
Present were: Mills, James, Service, Wiest, Hayden.
President Mills called meeting to order. Minutes of prdvious meeting
read and approved as read.
Service reported sale of club's Delco engine for 5. Will continue
effots to sell other unused equipment.
Mills made report on tournament. Gave credit to Ralph Jones. Suggestdd
letter of thanks to Jones for services. Reported a small amount of •
money cleared by tournament. Said entrance fees more than paid for
prizes and services of George Brown, who assisted in running the meet.
Mills reported completion of road and bridge across Fish creek by
county, which supplied materials and labor, and built road of great
benefit to the country club.
Mills said it is planned to close the club on Sunday Sept. 16. Reported
less golf play and more parties than ever before. Discussed Mrs. Lamb's
services at the club, as faithful and efficient.
Discussed problem of ice for next summer. Left the matter up to Service.
Mills reported 6 or 8 loads of xx oiled sand on hand for greens, and about
60 loads of un-oiled sand. Said this is enough dand for next summer, but
no more oil on hand. Tank of oil was bought in 193; G 4g/ a gallon, and
has lasted 2 years. Agreed to instruct Gooch to purchase 15 barrels of
oil this fall.
Finances discussed. Club owes 1200 at bank. Mills reported sevaral
residents as having indicated they will take varying amounts of stock
this fall. Hayden discussed possibility of getting loans of 100 or 200
at interest from various individuals, as a means of supplementing stock
soles. Loans woubd protect value of outstanding stock in case of liquid-
ation, and should be easier for raising money than outriEht stock sales.
Suggested 1 or 2 notes could be paid off each year. Directors agreed:to
carry on with stock sale campaign under Fay Brainard, and resort to loans
afterward is sales were insufficient.

Directors discussed getting a man, preferably with a
