HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Stockholders - Estes Park Golf and Country Club 1979-09-10BRADFORD PUBLISHING CO., DENVER RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Minutes of the annual meeting of the Stockholders of the Estes Park Golf and Country Club, Inc., held in the Municipal Building in Estes Park, Colorado, on the loth day of September, 1979 at 2:00 p.m. Present: Harry B. Tregent, H. Bernerd Dannels, James H. Swickard, Jack T. Rumley, George Hix, Jim Beauchamp, Bob Diers, Dale Hill The Secretary called the roll with the following shares of stock being represented: Town of Estes Park - represented by Mayor Harry B. Tregent 112 shares Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Recreation District - represented by Jim Beauchamp 16 shares George Hix, Trustee 27 shares 1552 shares Chairman Tregent stated that out of 216 shares, 155, were represented and, therefore, declared a quorum present. Minutes of the annual meeting of the Stockholders of the Estes Park Golf and Country Club held on the 11th day of September, 1978 were read. James H. Swickard moved the minutes be approved. Jack T. Rumley seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Secretary -Treasurer Dale G. Hill reported a balance in the savings account in the amount of $81.06 as of May 30, 1979. Chairman Tregent declared nominations in order for the Board of Directors. H. Bernerd Dannels moved the following persons be elected to the Board of Directors: Harry B. Tregent, Robert E. Burgess, H. Bernerd Dannels, Jack T. Rumley, Margaret Houston, James H. Swickard, Robert E. Wagner James H. Swickard seconded the motion and the motion passed by the fol- lowing votes: Those voting "Yes" the Town of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Recreation District. Those voting "No" none. George Hix, Trustee, abstained. Recreation District Manager Bob Diers mentioned that if the Town should ever have a surplus of water, that the Golf and Country Club would be interested in renting a portion.
