HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Stockholders - Estes Park Golf and Country Club 1975-09-08RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Minutes of the annual meeting of the Stockholders of the Estes Park Golf and Country Club, held in the Municipal Building in Estes Park, Colorado on the 8th day of September, 1975, at 2:00 P.M. Present: Harry B. Tregent, Robert Burgess, H. Bernerd Dannels, Glenn Prosser, Robert E. Wagner, George Hix, Robert Diers, Frank McGraw, John McGraw, and Dale Hill Absent: Rollen Sutter, N. T. Petrocine The Secretary called the roll with the following shares of stock being represented: Town of Estes Park, represented by Harry B. Tregent 1122 shares Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Recreation District, proxy held by Robert Diers 16 shares Chas. F. Hix, proxy by George Hix 24 shares McGraw Estate 5 shares 15711 shares Chairman Tregent stated that out of 216 outstanding shares, 1571/2 were represented, therefore, declared a quorum present. Minutes of the annual meeting of the Stockholders of the Estes Park Golf and Country Club, held in the Municipal Building in Estes Park on the 16th day of September, 1974, were read and approved as read. Secretary -Treasurer Hill reported a balance in the savings account in the amount of $49.39. Chairman Tregent declared nominations in order for the Board of Directors. Robert E. Burgess moved the following persons be elected to the Board of Directors: Harry B. Tregent, Robert E. Burgess, H. Bernerd Dannels, N. T. Petrocine, Glenn Prosser, Rollen Sutter, Robert E. Wagner. Robert E. Wagner seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion passed with a majority of shares by the following votes: Those voting "Yes" the Town of Estes Park, Rocky Mountain. Metropolitan Recreation District. Those voting "No" none. Mr. Hix and the McGraw Estate abstained. Mr. Robert Diers, representing the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Recreation District, informed those present that an underground sprinkler system is being designed for the golf course. Mr. Diers then, on behalf of the Recreation District, requested that the Town of Estes Park consider giving or selling its shares to the Recreation District. After considerable discussion, the Town of Estes Park declined the Recreation District's request. There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded, and carried that the meeting adjourn. Chairman Secretary
