Inc. Agreement for a one -day show scheduled for August 27, 1983,

STALL CLEANING - CONSIDER PURCHASE OF TRACTOR:
Manager Bob Scott requested permission to consider purchase of
a 16-horse, 4-wheel drive tractor with a loader and a rock rake.
Manager Scott stated that a dealer in the valley would be willing
to bring the tractor to Stanley Park for a week's trial. The
tractor and rock rake would be used to clean out horse stalls,
which is now done manually. Manager Scott stated that in order to be
able to clean stalls with the tractor and rock rake, the rake
would need to be cut down about 12 inches in order to fit into
the stalls. The rock rake costs about $300.00 and the Town would
be liable for this amount. Manager Scott stated that the rake
will fit on the tractor we now have, and could be used on the
Stanley Park grounds. If cleaning stalls by this method proves
to be as cost effective as is believed, the tractor could be budgeted
for in 1984. The Committee recommends approval of the purchase
of the rock rake.
