Manager Scott submitted the Arabian Horse Show Agreement which
includes a rate increase. After discussion, the Committee
recommends approval of the agreement.
MORGAN HORSE SHOW AGREEMENT:
Manager Scott submitted the Morgan Horse Show Agreement which is
a 5-year contract. The agreement contains the stipulation "if
and when the race track is not used, the contract will become
null and void." After discussion, the Committee recommends
approval of the agreement.
KIMBERLEY PROMOTIONS:
A proposal, submitted by Larry Sullivan/Kimberley Promotions, was
reviewed. Mr. Sullivan proposed organizing a Fall Frontier
Festival which would benefit the Rocky Mountain Nature Asso-
ciation. Mr. James Thompson, Rocky Mountain National Park, is
very supportive of the proposal. Due to possible conflicts with
existing agreements, the Committee recommends further background
information be obtained prior to making a decision on the pro-
posal.
SENIOR CITIZENS BOARD - REQUEST FOR ADDITION:
A letter, submitted by Bob Schultz, Chairman of the Board of the
Estes Park Senior Citizens' Center, Inc., was reviewed. The
center proposes a 24'x50' addition which would double the size of
the existing building. After discussion, the Committee recom-
mends Chairman Wood, Director Widmer and Manager Scott meet with
the Senior Citizens Board to identify the exact location of the
proposed addition and decide what effect the addition might have
on the adjacent race track.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
