RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Stanley Park Committee February 27, 1984 Committee: Chairman Wagner, Trustees Dannels and Wood Attending: All Also Attending: Mayor Tregent, Administrator Hill, Public Works Director Widmer, Manager Scott, Clerk Jensen, members of the Horse Show and Rodeo Committee TRACTOR BIDS: The Committee reviewed the bids for the Yan Mar 16 horsepower 4 X 4 stall tractor. The following bids were received: Potestio Brothers Longmont Farm Supply Farmco, Inc. $6,275.00 6,584.72 6,798.00 The Committee recommends accepting the low bid of $6,275.00 from Potestio Brothers, which was within the $6,500.00 budgeted amount. BIDS ON SAND: Manager Scott reported that he had received two bids for 250 tons of sand as requested by phone bid. The following bids were received: Frontier Material R. M. Concrete $1,500.00 2,187.50 The Committee recommends accepting the low bid of $1,500.00 from Frontier Material. HUNTER JUMPER, WESTERNAIRES, PAINT SHOW & HIGH COUNTRY CLASSIC: Manager Bob Scott submitted the horse show agreements for the Hunter Jumper Show scheduled for June 5-10, 1984, the Westernaires show scheduled for July 6-7, 1984, the Paint Horse Show scheduled for August 9-12, 1984, and the High Country Classic Hunter Jumper Show scheduled for August 20-26, 1984. Manager Scott stated that these were the standard horse show agreements. The Committee recommends approval of the horse show agreements as submitted by Manager Scott. MASTER PLAN FOR STANLEY PARK: The Committee discussed the need for a "master plan" for Stanley Park. The Committee indicated the plan should include the uses presently on the property along with future potential joint uses. After considerable discussion, the Committee recommends the Town Staff prepare a preliminary work program to be presented to the Committee at the next meeting. The Town Staff will prepare a list of qualified consultants for the consideration of the Committee. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. Ann E. JenseTown Clerk
