RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS ./ Stanley Park Committee March 26, 1984 Committee: Chairman Wagner, Trustees Dannels and Wood Attending: Chairman Wagner Also Attending: Mayor Tregent, Administrator Hill, Manager Scott, Clerk Jensen, Members of the Horse Show and Rodeo Committee Absent: Trustees Dannels and Wood LIPIZZAN CONTRACT - MAY 25-28, 1984: Manager Scott submitted the horse show agreement for Herrmann's Royal Lipizzan Stallions of Austria show scheduled for May 25-28, 1984. Manager Scott reported that this was the same agreement used in 1981 and everything remained the same except the ticket prices. The adult tickets went from $4.00 to $5.00 and the children's tickets went from $2.00 to $3.00. The Committee recommends approval of the contract. SCOTTISH FESTIVAL - SEPTEMBER 8-9, 1984: Manager Scott reported that Dr. James Durward requested use of the Stanley Park grounds on September 8-9, 1984 to park cars for the Scottish Highland Festival. The National Guard will be parking cars at $2.00 per vehicle and the Scottish Highland Festival will pay $.50 per car for use of the space. Attorney White had no problem with insurance coverage. Dr. Durward also requested use of the arena and grandstand on September 8th at the standard rental fee of $200.00. The Committee recommends the Scottish Highland Festival be allowed to park cars on the rodeo grounds on September 8-9, 1984, and the arena and grandstand be rented to the Scottish Highland Festival on September 8th at the rental rate of $200.00. GRANDSTAND CHAIR BIDS: Manager Scott submitted two bids for 50 chairs for the grand- stand, as budgeted for in the 1984 budget. The following bids were received: Pratt's Office Products Coast to Coast Hardware $13.55 each 7.99 each The Committee recommends accepting the low bid of $7.99 per chair from Coast to Coast Hardware. STANLEY PARK MASTER PLAN: The Committee reviewed the draft copy of the "Request For Pro- posals Stanley Park Master Plan" and a partial list of consul- tants to do the Master Plan. Administrator Hill stated the consultants were all Colorado firms and were highly recommended. After a brief discussion, the Committee recommends the Request For Proposals be distributed to the list of consultants. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
