RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Stanley Park Committee June 25, 1984 Committee: Chairman Wood, Trustees Hix and Laing Attending: Chairman Wood, Trustees Hix and Laing Also Attending: Administrator Hill, Public Works Director Widmer, Manager Scott, Chief Ault, Clerk O'Connor KIMBERLEY PROMOTIONS: At the direction of the Committee, Manager Scott obtained further information regarding Mr. Larry Sullivan/Kimberley Promotions. No derogatory remarks were found. Mr. Sullivan proposes organiz- ing a Fall Frontier Festival Saturday, September 29, 1984 bene- fiting the Rocky Mountain Nature Association. Discussion fol- lowed regarding some of the attractions that were listed in the proposal. The Committee recommends approval of the request submitted by Kimberley Promotions with a $50 per booth fee allocated. The Committee also recommends any proposed additional attractions be submitted for review prior to the Festival. EASTERN SLOPE PINTO and HUNTER JUMPER AGREEMENTS: Manager Scott presented the standard agreements for the Pinto Horse Show being August 4, 1984 and the Hunter Jumper Show being held August 13 - 19, 1984. The Committee recommends approval of the two agreements. COMMERCIAL EXHIBITOR AGREEMENTS: Manager Scott submitted 12 Commercial Exhibitor Agreements. Following discussion, the Committee recommends approval of the 12 exhibitor agreements. ESTES PARK HORSE SHOW and RODEO COMMITTEE - BYLAWS: At the direction of the Committee, Administrator Hill requested and obtained a legal opinion from Town Attorney White regarding the Horse Show and Rodeo Committee Bylaws. Attorney White addressed seven issues of the bylaws: Object, Membership, Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Committees, Executive Direc- tor/General Manager, and Amendments. The Committee recommends Attorney White's letter be referred to the Horse Show and Rodeo Committee for their review and that the Horse Show and Rodeo Committee report back to the Committee. SENIOR CITIZENS BOARD - REQUEST FOR ADDITION: Following the Committee's recommendation, Public Works Director Widmer, Chairman Wood and Manager Scott met with Mr. Bob Schultz, Chairman of the Board of the Estes Park Senior Citizens' Center. Director Widmer submitted a map marking the exact location of the proposed addition. The center desires to add more room to the dining area. The Public Works Department has issued a building permit for the addition. The Committee recommends the Town Attorney prepare an amendment to the existing lease agreement with the Senior Citizens' Center to modify the legal description to include a 35' extension to the present lot.
