RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS ✓ Special Stanley Park Committee June 5, 1987 Committee: Chairman Hix, Trustees Dickinson and Habecker Attending: Chairman Hix, Trustee Habecker Also Attending: Absent: Mayor Dannels, Town Administrator Hill, Business Manager Scott, Finance Officer Vavra, Janet Toney, Clerk O'Connor Trustee Dickinson GHOST RIDERS 4-H CLUB - UPDATE: Janet Toney, representing the local 4-H Club, appeared before the Committee to report on the Club's liability insurance. The Club contains six members and two adult leaders and is affiliated with Boulder County. Each child is required to obtain accident insurance. As most 4-H Clubs are affiliated with their county fairground, general practice appears to be that each county insures the 4-H Clubs. At this time, should an injury occur at the Stanley Park Fairgrounds, the Town would be at risk. Follow- ing discussion, the Committee recommends Finance Officer Vavra research the possibility of Larimer County insuring the Ghost Riders 4-H Club. Officer Vavra will also contact CIRSA to discuss the Town's potential liability in this matter. INDOOR ARENA - FINANCIAL CONSULTANT: As directed by the Committee May 27, 1987, Town Administrator Hill prepared and submitted an "RFP" to obtain an economic and financial feasibility analysis for the indoor arena. Administra- tor Hill reported Horse Show and Rodeo President Dill and Vice President Russell reviewed and approved the RFP. The Committee also reviewed a list of firms who will receive the proposal. The Committee recommends approval of the RFP and mailing list, authorizing Administrator Hill to proceed. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. qjce_. /2 « '% Vickie O'Connor, Town Clerk
