LONG'S PEAK SCOTTISH HIGHLAND FESTIVAL: REVIEW.
Jim Durward, representing the Long's Peak Scottish Highland
Festival, appeared before the committee requesting an identical
contract as 1987 for 1988. The committee recommends Dr. Durward
meet with the Horse Show and Rodeo Committee prior to additional
consideration by the Stanley Park Committee.
1987 INCOME/OPERATING EXPENSE REPORT: DISCUSSION.
Manager Scott presented a statement of revenue and operating
expenses per show for 1987. The statement did not include
capital expenditures or off-season expenses. Total revenue was
$144,502; expenses were $106,126.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS --HORSE SHOW AND RODEO COMMITTEE: REVIEW.
New/ officers for the Horse Show and Rodeo Committee are as
follows:
Rick Russell, President
Mike Martin, Vice President
Carol Ball, Secretary
George Havens, Treasurer
Ron Osborn, Director
Rick Dill, Past President, will also serve on the board for one
year. No further action will be taken pending submittal of the
entire membership roster in January.
1988 BUDGET: REVIEW.
The committee reviewed the second draft of the budget for 1988.
