Cattle at large:
The Police Committee reviewed the Town Attorney's letter of September 30, 1966,
setting forth his opinion as to how the Town should proceed in enforcement of
Section 18.5 of the Municipal Code. After discussion the Committee recommended
to the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park that the Police Department
aggressively enforces this ordinance and that the offenders be prosecuted. The
Committee discussed the various developments that could occur due to the
enforcement and prosecution of this ordinance. It was suggested that the Board
thoroughly consider the consequences resulting from the above action.
Ambulance Contract:
Town Attorney Ernest G. Hartwell's letter of September 29, 1966, stated that
in his opinion the ambulance agreement does not need to be amended.

Police walking -time:
Chairman Petrocine informed Sergeant Janousek that the Town would expect more
evidence of patrolmen walking the downtown beat during the winter months.
Chairman Petrocine also stated that he would so instruct Chief Banks. The
Committee agreed to the need in this service.
Dogs:
The Police Committee recommends that the Dog Ordinance be enforced. It was
suggested that a portion of the facilities at Stanley Park be used for impounding
animals. The local humane officer will be contacted and asked for his cooperation
and assistance.
Occupation Tax Ordinance:
The Committee recommends the Occupation Tax Ordinance be enforced.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
