HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Police Committee 1967-06-01RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Police Committee June 1, 1967 Committee: Attending: Chairman Petrocine; Trustees Grove and Tregent Chairman Petrocine; Trustees Grove and Tregent Also Attending: Town Clerk Hill Absent: None The Committee recommends the purchase of a tape recorder from the Estes Park Hardware at an estimated cost of $70.00. The Committee recommends the purchase of a set of instruction books on police procedures at an estimated cost of $52.00. The Committee recommends Municipal Judge William C. Wilson be authorized to attend the annual Traffic Institute at Denver University in July. The Town will pay one half the cost ($100.00), and the County will pay the other half. The Committee recommends the Police Department reports in regard to actions involving liquor outlets be more complete and detailed. These reports should be signed by the officer involved. The Committee recommends the police phone not be unattended at any time during the period a dispatcher is on duty. The police dispatcher shall not leave the phone unless one of the officers on duty substitutes. Chair- man Petrocine will discuss this with the Police Chief. The Police Magistrate's phone number will be changed so that the phone will ring at his residence as well as at the courtroom. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. Dale G.
