HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Police Committee 1969-07-10RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Police Committee Meeting July 10, 1969 Committee: Chairman Tregent; Trustees Swanson and Steele Attending: Chairman Tregent; Trustees Swanson and Steele Also Attending: Chief Ault and Town Administrator Hill REPORTS: Chief Ault submitted the police reports for June 1969. The reports are attached to and made a part of these proceedings. INTERCOM: The Committee postponed a decision on adding anintercom system to the telephone. TELETYPE: Chief Ault explained the availability of a teletype machine that would be connected to the state and federal police wire service facility. The installation charge is $120.00. The monthly fee is $60.00. The Committee recommended the approval of this installation. JULY 4th: The Committee commended the Police Department for the manner in which the July 4th weekend was handled. SGT. PUTT: Chief Ault announced that Officer Putt has been promoted to probationary Sgt. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. Dale G.
