Police Committee Meeting
January 13, 1969
Committee: Chairman Tregent; Trustees Swanson and Steele

Also Attending: Chief Banks and Town Administrator Hill
Chairman Tregent announced Chief Banks has requested his retirement as
of March 1, 1969.
The Police Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees of the Town of
Estes Park that the Estes Park Police Department be placed on the con-
tributory type Policemens Pension Plan and the necessary ordinances be
adopted.
The Committee also recommends Chief Bank's request for retirement be
accepted, contingent upon the Town's adoption of the contributory type
pension plan.
The Committee instructed the Town Administrator to proceed with the job
of securing applicationsfor the position of Chief of Police.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.

23 years, and now would like to take my retirement from the Estes Park Police
Department effective March 1, 1969.
