HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Police Committee 1969-09-17M RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Police Committee September 17, 1969 Committee: Chairman Tregent; Trustees Erickson and Steele Attending: Chairman Tregent; Trustees Erickson and Steele Also Attending: Police Chief Ault and Town Administrator Hill LOADING ZONE SIGN: As requested by the Board of Trustees, this Committee considered Mr. Byerly's (National Park Hotel) request to purchase two loading zone signs for the hotel. The Committee recommends Mr. Byerly be notified that he may purchase the above mentioned signs. MONTHLY REPORTS: Chief Ault submitted the regular monthly reports and they are attached to and made a part of these proceedings. POLICE DEPARTMENT DINNER: The Committee discussed a Police Department dinner and suggest this dinner not be held and that plans be made to hold a dinner for all Town employees in December. ADDITIONAL POLICE OFFICER: Chief Ault requested permission to add an additional police officer for the months of October, November and December of 1969 at a cost of $1200.00. The Committee recommends this request be granted. DEPARTMENT PERSONNELL: Chief Ault discussed with the Committee various personnel problems that have developed within the Police Department.
