DOGS
The Committee discussed the dog situation at length. Town Engineer
Van Horn is preparing cost estimates for a new holding facility to be
located at the Sanitary Land Fill. The Committee is in the process of
studying various ordinances relating to animal control.
DARK HORSE PARKING LOT:
The Committee recommends the Dark Horse Parking Lot be changed from
four hour to two hour parking limits for the 1973 season.
DISPATCHER WAGES:
The Committee authorized an increase of $10.00 per month for a dispatcher
completing the probationary period November 1, 1972.
UNLAWFUL ACCUMULATION OF TRASH:
Chief Ault reported that sixteen locations were directed to abate the un-
lawful accumulation of trash. Four out of the sixteen have completed the
clean up and two others are in progress. Various time limits have been
set for the total program and as these time limits expire and there appears
to be violations of the Code, citations will be issued.
AMBULANCE:
Mrs. Johanne Moynhan, from the Emergency Medical Services Section of the
Colorado State Health Department, discussed several aspects of the local
ambulance service. Mrs. Moynhan will discuss these problems with the Estes
Park Hospital District.
UNIFORM CLEANING:
Chief Ault requested further consideration of his plan to allow the Police
Department personnel a dry cleaning fringe benefit. The Committee decided
to table the matter for further study.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
