The Committee recommends accepting the total bid of $1,000 for both
vehicles from the Estes Park Motorized Sheriff Patrol.
ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES:
Dr. Wesley Metzler appeared requesting the Committee consider changing
to a monthly fee of $300 for animal impoundment. Presently rates are
based on a "per dog per day" basis which involves a great deal of
bookkeeping for the Police Department as well as Dr. Metzler. The
Committee recommends amending the contract with Dr. Metzler to incor-
porate the $300 monthly fee and to amend Section 7.12.070 of the
Municipal Code to raise the impoundment fee collected from dog owners
from $3.00/day to $4.00/day.
VIRGINIA DRIVE - PARKING:
The Committee discussed the parking situation along Virginia Drive from
Park Lane to the alley just north of Block 1. The Committee recommends
tabling any action at this time regarding parking on Virginia Drive in
order to observe the situation during the busy summer months.
PHOTO LAB:
The Committee recommends proceeding with the design and the construction
of the photo lab in the Police Department. $1,800 for the photo lab
was encumbered from the 1977 budget.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
