DOG LICENSING: Chief Ault suggested lowering dog licensing fees in order to encourage more people to license their dogs. The Committee decided to ask Dr. Metzler to attend the next Committee meeting to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of lowering the license fees. PRIVATE RADIO FREQUENCY: Apparently the Police Department's request for a private radio fre- quency was denied by the State Communications Board due to a lack of availability. The Committee directed Police Chief Ault to research this request further through the state legislature. REPORTS: The shoplifting ordinance is presently being drafted by the Town Attorney.
