1. Discussed Arbor Day celebration and Tree City celebration - May 15, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. at the
Intermediate School.
2. Dan will talk to Tony Paglia about the Intermediate School landscape plan. They will decide on
how many trees will be donated and the species. The Town has $1,000 and EVIA has $500
towards the trees.
3. Wendell will invite Disney, Kaufman, Matsunaka, Farmer, Mahaffey, Mayor, Town Board,
Paglia, Randy Jones, and the Tree Board to the celebration and to the luncheon.
4. Dave showed the Tree City signs, flat, and plaque. He will have these at our celebration.
5. Our Arbor Day and Tree City celebration will be announced on the radio, Channel 8, and in the
paper.
6. Dan will talk with the Superintendent of Schools about having some classes participate at the
celebration.
7. The Town Board Conference in Estes Park will be Saturday, October 10, 1998. Dan will make
the arrangements for meeting room, luncheon, and lodgings.
8. Wendell announced that the meeting for sprayers will be on Friday, April 17, 1998 at 10:00 a.m.
in the Municipal Building.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 5, 1998 at 9:30 a.m.
