Astro is a natural chemical that will work on beetles. Astro has no odor or color and can be effective over 12 months. Dave will come and look at trees in the Estes Valley, but will charge a $26 fee per person. Perhaps we want to have an "Annual Sick Tree Day." We would do it through the Tree Board. Tree Board Conference on a Saturday in October (30-50 people). Dave would like Estes Park to host this conference. Share ideas - what kind of trees can we plant? Discuss the loss of elms; discuss licensing of sprayers and pruners. News releases in paper, series of articles. Wendell Amos - Wendell stated that the most beetle trees in the Estes Valley are at the YMCA and Windcliff. He will put articles in the paper about trees and beetles.
