1. Wendell complimented the town crew on its great job with the flowers.
2. Mike Richardson would like to see a compost pile in Estes Park on city
ground. Dan will get information from A-1 Organic. Right now, organics
go into the dump. A-1 could do chipping down in the valley, then bring it
back up here to sell for compost.
3. We discussed goals for 2003.
A. Taking care of the Champion Tree.
B. Observation of Arbor Day.
C. Hazard tree evaluation.
D. Continue street tree -trimming inventory.
E. Develop a tree maintenance program during drought periods.
4. An article on special drought plants will be put in the paper.
5. 2003 meeting dates:
March 7
April 11
May 2
Arbor Day — May 16
September 5
October 3
November 7
All meetings will be at 8:30 a.m. in the Administrative Board Room.
