RETAINING WALL AT INTERSECTION OF MORAINE AVENUE AND CRAGS DRIVE:
Three bids for the construction of a retaining wall adjacent to the
intersection of Moraine Avenue and Crags Drive were received by the
Board of Trustees on October 12th and referred to the Public Works
Committee for final award. The bids are as follows:
Tom's Concrete
K & L Associates
Pinson Concrete
$68.90
/cu:yd.
$70.00/cu.yd.
$83.00/ - Total $6,300
cu.yd.
The total figure submitted by Pinson Concrete assumed the total
yardage to be 75 cu.yd. and would not apply if the yardage changed.
The estimated maximum yardage is 92 cu.yd.
The Committee accepts, on behalf of the Town of Estes Park, Tom's
Concrete bid of $68.90/cu.yd.
EAST RIVERSIDE REST ROOM REMODELING:
Public Works Director Van Horn reviewed the East Riverside rest room
remodeling bid of $29,828 with George Bargelt & Co., Inc. in order to
reduce costs while maintaining the desired quality. A reduction of
$2,886 was achieved which would bring the total down to $26,942.
The Committee accepts, on behalf of the Town of Estes Park, the revised
bid of George Bargelt & Co., Inc. at $26,942.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
