BUDGET 1978:
The Committee reviewed the proposed 1978 Budget.

MUNICIPAL BUILDING - STORM WINDOWS:
Firm cost estimates to install the storm windows in the Municipalll,
Building were not available yet and so the Committee tabled the matter
until the next meeting.
LIBRARY INSULATION:
Storm windows and ceiling insulation for the entire library will exceed
the $4,000 allocated. The Committee directed the Public Works Director
to obtain firm cost estimates for this project excluding storm windows
on the north and east sides of the Library.
PROSPECT AVENUE APPROACH TO THE HOSPITAL:
The Hospital Board requested that the curves on Prospect Avenue ap-
proaching the Hospital be streamlined to aid emergency vehicle traffic.
Public Works Director Van Horn explained that this would involve 'ac-
quiring additional private property and moving a major Light andlPower
structure. The Committee recommends forwarding a letter to the Hospital
Board explaining the details and costs of the project and that it 'is
not included in the present budget.
BURKS PROPERTY HOUSE:
The Committee authorized proceeding with obtaining

TALLANT PARK - Drinking fountains, sod, and shelters have all
been installed at Tallant Park. Completion of the park is
estimated at the end of August.
INSULATION STANDARDS - Minimum insulation standards for all
buildings will soon be imposed by the State.
