Myers, Bill Van Horn, and Roger Thorp appeared before the Com- mittee to further discuss the off-street parking proposal in which the Town would purchase the land for underground parking and allow Mr. Myers to retain the air space rights of the Stanley Village Complex. Mr. Myers proposed selling the Town 152 underground parking spaces at an estimated maximum price of $4,000 per space. This estimate includes the land and all construction costs for developing the parking. He also stated that he was flexible regarding the terms of payment and would accept a 20 - 25 year payout schedule. The Committee suggested another cost estimate be calculated using the total cost of developing all of the parking (above ground and under- ground) and dividing by the total number of parking spaces.
