Tentative additions and deletions were made by the Committee. STANLEY PARK: The present 1979 budget for Stanley Park was amended by deleting $2170 from the Highway Entrance and adding $1300 to Barn Wiring and $870 to Arena Lighting. Public Works Director Widmer was instructed to begin a study of the sanitation system at Stanley Park and to work with other public agencies that may have a common interest in this matter. BRIDGE INVENTORY INSPECTION AGREEMENT: The previously agreed upon bridge inspection program by the State Highway Department is recommended for final approval by the Board of Trustees. The total cost of this program is to be about $4030. The Town's share of this cost is to be 20% or $806. 1932 SNOW PLOW: In 1952 the Town acquired a 1932 rotary snow plow from Rocky Mountain National Park for $1500. REMODEL ROOM 203: Bids have been received for the remodel of Room 203 of the Municipal Building as follows: $2600 Master Crafts Industries $4000 Hillary Parrack The Committee recommends the low bid be accepted. PAINTING BUILDINGS: Several painting jobs on the Municipal Building and Public Rest Rooms are needed. Proposals indicate the cost will run between $750 and $1000. DENYER RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Public Works Couuuittee - August 22, 1979 - Page Two (2) STREET CUT PERMITS: Public Works Director Widmer advised the Committee that some contractors are cutting the streets for various kinds of work and are not obtaining the required permits. The Committee authorized a new street cut permit form with a two year guarantee. Public Works Director Widmer will advise all contractors by mail of the new permit form and give notice that all violations of this kind will result in Municipal Court actions. BLUE PRINT MACHINE: The Committee recommends authorizing the rental of a Blue Print machine at a monthly cost of $40 plus $6 per hour. 75% of this rental fee can be applied to the purchase price of $1600 in 1980. This item is in the 1980 budget. STORM DRAINAGES: The Committee recommends authorizing calling for bids on the storm water problem on Park Lane and Bond Park. This will require about 2/3rds of the sidewalk curb and gutter being replaced. Director Widmer estimates the cost of the project to be $6M to $7M. Construction will be this fall. HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT 5-YEAR PLAN: The State Highway Department will conduct a public hearing on the 5-year plan at the NCWCD in Loveland on September l7th. The Committee will discuss this matter further at their next meeting on September 14th. LIBRARY WALK: The Library walk has been replaced and the retainage money vouchered for the 1979 addition.
